Palmetto Pile Driving was officially formed in 1988 with construction roots that reach back to 1949, giving the company decades of practical, field-proven experience in the Charleston and Southeast market. In the late 1990s, when the region’s primary prestressed supplier closed its doors, Palmetto erected its own pile manufacturing facility to keep critical projects moving – a decision that shaped the two-division model we run today.
That integration – manufacturing prestressed concrete piles and installing driven piles solutions – created faster feedback loops, single-source accountability, and foundations that install and construct the way they’re designed.
